Heidi Beachley

Heidi discovered yoga in high school when she came across Jane Fonda's yoga VHS. She only practiced yoga a few times on the hard concrete basement floor, until 2004 when a tragic event happened in her life. After containers of Ben & Jerry's, frosted King Soopers cookies, and late night plates of nachos; a good friend of hers turned her onto yoga. From the moment she stepped onto the mat and took a Hot Yoga class, she knew her path had changed. It took her a few months to decide she was "good enough" to become an instructor, but when she finally made the commitment, the Universe opened further on this amazing journey.

Heidi never stops learning. Her portfolio of continuing education includes Hot Yoga, Hot Power Fusion, Power vinyasa, Yin Yoga w/Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers, Pranic Breath work with Darren Main, and Yoga for Cancer Survivors w/Laura Kupperman. Her latest training is through Integrative Yoga Therapy where she has received her 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification as a Professional Yoga Therapist.

"Yoga goes way beyond the physical sheathes, it dives into the realm of spiritual enlightenment, and endless possibility. I teach yoga the way I live...through laughter, truth, and love." Heidi facilitates special workshops on asana, anatomy, yoga nidra, and meditation. For the past two years she's lead two different Teacher Trainings and loves to see aspiring yoga practitioners follow their dreams, and teach yoga. One of her favorite parts of teaching yoga is facilitating yoga retreats in Panama, Mexico, and India. Her hopes for the future is to create a Yin and Yang teacher training program with a focus on yoga therapy to further spread the healing power of yoga to others.
